Contacts

Contacts are the people you sell to and support. Use this page to add contacts, keep their stage and status current, and work with many contacts at once.

Add a contact

  1. Go to CRM → Contacts.

  2. Select Add contact.

  3. Enter a First Name and Email. Both are required.

  4. Optionally add a last name, phone, job title, lifecycle stage, lead status, and source.

  5. Select Create.

Contacts can also be created automatically from connected email and calendar activity, depending on your workspace's contact creation setting. See Email and calendar sync.

You can change the stage and status from the contact list or from the contact's details panel.

  • Use Group by to group the list by Lifecycle Stage, Lead Status, or Owner.

  • Use the column menu to show or hide columns such as Phone, Job Title, Source, Created, and Updated.

Update many contacts at once

  1. Select the checkbox next to each contact you want to change.

  2. In the actions bar, choose one of these:

    • Stage to set the lifecycle stage.

    • Status to set the lead status.

    • Assign owner to choose an owner or set Unassigned.

    • Ask Agent to start an Ask Agent chat with the selected contacts attached.

    • Delete to remove the contacts.

Deleting contacts also removes their activity history. You can't undo this.
