Create your workspace
Your workspace is the shared home for your organization in Helpin. It holds your members and their roles, your teams, and the organization-wide settings that apply to everyone — security, billing, audit, and integrations.
Everything your teams create — tasks, conversations, deals, documents, and automations — lives inside the workspace. Your workspace data is kept separate and is never shared with other workspaces.
What you get with a new workspace
When your workspace is ready, you have one place for every Helpin module: Projects (PM), Support, CRM, Docs, and Automation. You can start with one module and add the others as your team grows into them.
Set up the essentials
After you create your workspace, work through these settings before inviting everyone. Workspace administrators and owners manage them.
Create your teams
Teams group the people who plan and deliver work together. Each team has its own workflows, labels, templates, automations, and PM defaults, so teams can work their own way without changing the whole workspace.
Open Settings and choose Teams.
Select Create Team (or New Team if your workspace already has teams).
Give the team a name and description, and set a handle, such as
growth, so people can mention it as@growth.Save the team. You can add members once they have joined the workspace.
Learn more in Teams.
Plan roles and module access
Decide which role each person will have — Viewer, Member, Admin, or Owner — and which of the grantable modules — CRM, Support, and Automation — they need. Projects and Docs are available to everyone. For example, a support team usually needs Support, while a sales team needs CRM. See Module access control.
Set up email, if you use Support
If customers will email you, connect your support address and choose the address your replies come from. See Email delivery overview.
Create your first Docs space
Documents live in spaces. Create a workspace-wide space for knowledge everyone needs, and team-only spaces for content a single team owns. See Spaces.
