Tour of the app
This tour shows you how Helpin is laid out, so you can find your way between modules, settings, and your own work.
The workspace sidebar
The sidebar on the left is your main navigation. It lists the modules you have access to:
Projects — your team's planning and delivery work. Open Projects and choose My Work to see tasks assigned to you and tasks you requested.
Support — the shared inbox for customer conversations from the chat widget and email.
CRM — contacts, companies, and deals.
Docs — your internal knowledge base and help center content.
Automation — flows and agents.
Not seeing a module? Projects and Docs are always there; CRM, Support, and Automation appear only when you have access to them. Ask a workspace administrator if you need one that is missing. See Module access control.
Inside each module
Each module has its own layout, built around the work you do there.
Projects
My Work has two tabs, Assigned to me and Requested by me, and shows each task's state, priority, and due date. Workspace admins see tasks across all teams; other members see tasks from the teams they belong to. See My Work.
Support
The inbox has three working areas:
A left sidebar with built-in views — Inbox, Mine, Waiting, Resolved, Spam, AI Handling, AI Resolved, and Coverage Gaps — plus your team inboxes.
The conversation list for the selected view.
The conversation view, with the thread and reply composer, and a Details panel showing the customer, routing, tags, linked tasks, CRM records, and docs.
See Inbox overview.
Docs
Opening Docs takes you to the Documentation page. There you can browse your spaces and their collections, jump to Recent documents and My documents, search across documents, and create a new space or document. See Docs overview.
Settings
Open Settings to manage your workspace. Some areas you will use early on:
Teams — create teams and manage each team's members, handle, labels, workflows, templates, and automations.
Inboxes & Routing — set up Email Forwarding routes and Sender Addresses for Support email.
Chat Widget — customize the website chat widget and its email notifications.
Workspace-wide settings — members, roles, security, billing, audit, and integrations — are managed by workspace administrators and owners.
Search and the command bar
You can search within modules: Support searches across conversation subjects, messages, and customer emails, and Docs has a search in its header. Helpin also offers workspace-wide search and a command palette (Cmd+K).
