Video & rich embeds

Docs embeds media and live workspace data so documents can carry the full story: product videos, demos, whiteboards, and rich link previews.

Video embeds

Paste a link from YouTube, Vimeo, Loom, or Wistia (slash menu → Video, or paste the URL directly) and it becomes a player block with the provider, title, and responsive sizing. Helpin stores a stable player link, so changes to a provider's link format don't break old docs.

Rich embeds

The Embed block unfurls workspace links into rich cards — for example, pasting a link to a PM task, epic, deal, or support conversation renders a live card with the object's title and status rather than a bare URL. Cards keep working even when the linked object moves.

Excalidraw whiteboards

Entity embeds

Beyond mentions, the Entity block embeds a full card for a task, epic, deal, contact, company, or support conversation. The card shows live data (status, owner, updated time) and links to the object. Entity embeds are searchable via the generic picker across all modules at once — see Mentions & entity mentions for the inline variant.

The last row matters: entity embeds and saved-view embeds are stripped from public rendering so internal data never leaks to the help center.
