Link to Helpin objects
Docs don't live in isolation — they're wired to the work they describe. You can link a whole document or a single block to any PM, CRM, or support object, and the Links rail shows every connection.
Linking an object
Open a document (or select a specific block) and use the link action.
Choose the object type — Epic, Task, Project, Objective, Sprint, Support conversation, Deal, Contact, Company — and search for the record.
The link records how it was made: attached explicitly, mentioned in the content, the doc was created from this object, or it was picked up from an embed or mention in the doc.
Block-level links
Because every block has an ID, a link can attach to one paragraph or heading rather than the whole doc. Use this when a single section matters — e.g. linking the "Rollout plan" block to the rollout epic while the doc's overview links to the epic's parent initiative.
The Links rail
Open the Linked tab in the document's right rail to see:
All objects linked to this document, grouped by type, with display IDs and names.
Links from other objects to this document (reverse direction) — so you can see which tasks reference this spec.
Remove any link you created.
Where links appear elsewhere
PM tasks and epics show linked docs in their detail views (docs listed under "Linked docs" on the object).
CRM records surface linked docs (proposals, briefs) on their timelines.
Support conversations can link the docs that resolved them.
Search indexes both directions, so "find docs for this task" and "find tasks for this doc" both work.
Integrations and agents
Integrations and agents can create, list, and remove the same links, and look up the docs linked to any object — which is how documentation stays attached to work automatically.
