Planning & Sprints

This section covers planning in Helpin: turning team goals into objectives and epics, scheduling tasks into sprints, and reviewing the plan over time. Use it to set a delivery cadence, decide what your team takes on next, and keep work aligned with your goals.

What this section covers

  • Team goals — connect objectives, key results, epics, and tasks so daily work maps to team goals.

  • Timeline / Roadmap view — plan epics across weeks, months, or quarters against objectives and key dates.

  • Sprints — create dated sprints and understand how their status changes automatically.

  • Sprint planning — groom the backlog and pull tasks into sprints.

  • Sprint closeout & rollover — review what the sprint achieved and carry the right work forward.

When to use each page

If you are setting direction, start with Team goals and the roadmap: define what matters, then check that the epics supporting it have a realistic time frame. If you are running the delivery loop, start with Sprints: create the sprint, plan it in the workspace, and use the closeout when the end date passes.
