Real-time updates
What updates live without refreshing, agent attention alerts, and what happens when you reconnect.
Helpin updates what you see as your teammates, customers and agents make changes. You don't need to refresh the page to see a new comment, a moved task or a customer reply.
What updates live
While Helpin is open in your browser, these update on their own:
Area | Examples |
|---|---|
Projects | Tasks, epics, sprints and objectives, including changes to boards and sprint planning |
Docs | Documents, collections and spaces, including edits and new versions |
Support | Conversations, new messages and unread counts |
CRM | Contacts and companies |
Agents | The progress of agent runs |
Notifications | Your notification list and the unread count on the bell |
Updates apply to the workspace you have open.
When an agent needs you
If an agent pauses because it needs your input or approval, a message titled Agent needs your attention appears for a few seconds. Select its button, such as Open chat or Open task, to go straight to the agent. The same alert is also added to your notifications, so you can come back to it later.
If you lose your connection
If your network drops or your computer sleeps, Helpin reconnects automatically as soon as it can. When it reconnects, it refreshes your notifications, support inbox counts and agent runs.
Other pages pick up new changes from then on. If something you're looking at still seems out of date, refresh the page.
