Imports

Imports bring your existing work into Helpin's project management space. Instead of rebuilding projects by hand, open Import & Export in Settings, connect to your current tool, and Helpin creates matching work items in your workspace.

Use Imports when you are:

Moving off another tool and starting in Helpin.
Testing Helpin with a copy of your real work.
Bringing in one team's work while the rest of the organization keeps using the old tool for now.

Before you start:

Make sure you have permission to read the source data in the other tool.
An import creates new items in Helpin. It does not delete or edit anything in the source tool.
Run a small import first so you can check the result before bringing over everything.
