Agent runs
An agent run is one piece of work carried out by an agent. Each time a flow starts an agent, or you start one yourself, Helpin creates a run with its own status and a full record of what the agent did. This page explains where to find runs and how to keep them moving.
Where to find runs

Select a run in any of these places to open it in a side panel.
How a run progresses
The top of an open run shows where it is:
Stage | Meaning |

Queued | Waiting to start |
Preparing | Loading run context |
Starting agent | Preparing the session |
Agent working | The agent is active |
Resuming | Continuing after your response |
Approval, Review, Input, Chat or Sign-in | Waiting for you |
Completed | The run finished |
Failed | The run stopped with an error |
Cancelled | The run was stopped |
Respond to a waiting run
Some agents pause to check with you before they act, or to ask a question. These runs appear on the Needs you tab in Activity, with how long they've been waiting.
Go to Automation → Activity and open Needs you.
For a run that says Needs approval, select Approve to let it continue. To check what it wants to do first, select View run.
For a run that needs input or sign-in, select Respond and follow the prompt in the run.
Once you respond, the run moves to Resuming and carries on. Whether an agent asks for approval depends on its settings. See Approvals & interactions during runs.
Cancel a run
To stop a run that's in progress:
Open the run.
Select the Cancel run button at the top of the panel.
The run's status changes to Cancelled. Cancelling doesn't undo anything the agent has already done.
Runs and flows
A run keeps a link to the flow that started it. In Activity, select the flow name on a row to open the flow. From a flow, select View all under Recent runs to see its full run history.
Manual runs show Manual as their source and the name of the person who started them.
