Manage team membership
Add and remove team members, choose Team Managers, and delete a team.
Team membership decides which project work people see and, when an admin grants a module to a team, which modules they can open. This article covers adding and removing team members, choosing Team Managers, and deleting a team. To create a team and configure how it works, see Teams.
Who can manage team membership
Person | What they can do |

Owners and Admins can see every team's work without being added to it. In the member list they show All teams.
Add people to a team
Go to Settings > Teams and select the team.
Select Add member, or select Members in the team's settings. The team's member list opens.
Under Add members, search for a person and select them.
You can also add a person to teams in two other places:
When you invite them, under Teams in the invitation. They join those teams when they accept.
When you edit them in Settings > Members, under Teams.
Pending invitations also appear in the team's member list, marked Pending, so you can see who is expected to join.
Make someone a Team Manager
Open the team's member list.
Next to the person, select Make manager.
They show a Team Manager badge. Team Managers can manage their team's settings and members. To take the role away, select Remove as manager.
Remove someone from a team
Open the team's member list.
Next to the person, select Remove from team.
The person stays in the workspace. They lose access to that team's project work and any module access that came only from that team. If you want to remove yourself from a team, ask another admin to do it.
Delete a team
Go to Settings > Teams and select the team.
Select Delete.
In Delete team, select Delete to confirm.
Deleting a team is permanent and removes all of its member assignments. It can't be undone. People stay in the workspace, but they lose anything they could access only through that team.
