Automation areas: Flows, Agents, Activity and Catalog

The Automation area of Helpin is split into a few pages, each answering a different question. Use this page to decide where to go.

To open it, select Automation in the main navigation. It opens on Flows.

Flows: what should happen

Flows is where you set up automation. Each flow connects a trigger to an action, such as "when a task enters Ready for review, start an agent run on that task".

Go here to:

• Create a flow from a template or from scratch

• See which flows are active, paused or need attention

• Check a flow's run count, last run and next scheduled run

• Edit, pause, run or delete a flow

Agents: who does the work

Agents lists the agents available in your workspace, including built-in agents and custom agents your team creates. Flows choose an agent under Using, and you can also start an agent directly from here.

Activity: what actually happened

Activity is the operational history of your automations. It shows every flow-triggered and manual run, including attempts that were skipped or failed before starting. The Needs you tab collects runs waiting for your approval or input, and the sidebar badge shows how many there are.

Catalog: the building blocks

The Catalog section of the sidebar is for reference:

Browse the catalog to see what's possible, then go to Flows to put a trigger to work. See Triggers and Tools & Skill Library.
